Crazy times we live in – 2020 started with the massive bushfires in Australia, then COVID-19 hit the world and now we fight again (or should I say: still) against racism.
Will it ever be over?
Honestly, I think there will always be something to worry about and something to fight for. Unfortunately, even if we try really hard, we can’t prevent difficult situations. We can only change how we react to things that live throws at us. So, how do you react to the current situation?
Today I want to share this beautiful quote with you:
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.– Martin Luther King Jr.
Every single person needs to do their part. Every single person needs to try their best. We are all tied together.
In my case, it helped me a lot to practice mindfulness, gratitude and learning about the still existing injustice in todays society. I invite you to do the same. Don’t take things for granted and ignore the rest.
What do we learn from the current situation? What can you do today to make this world a better place? Be the change you want to see.
